The Paris Blues

Exactly one year ago, I made my first solo trip to Paris. I didn't really post many images from the trip, so I thought I might share some now.

Paris is such a wonderful city, that when I'm not there, I do have the Paris blues.  These were all taken in Le Marais area, my favourite part of Paris. I can't wait to get back there one day - hopefully soon.

This is part 2 of my "Colourful France" series. If you missed part 1, you can see it here - French Pink.

If you have stopped by, it would be lovely if you could leave a comment or just say hello so I know that you've been here. Thank you!

  2. I miss Paris so badly too! I was there in 2009. Solo trip to Paris sounds fantastic to me, not sure whether my hubby will be happy about that. Have a nice day x

  3. I loved Paris as well. But it's the details that are the best, like you've captured here. The wrought iron gates, pretty doors with knockers, cobblestone streets. Gorgeous!

  5. Gorgeous!! Please go & see the new Woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris, the eye candy scenery is divine. It's one of the few Woody movies i've enjoyed, it's short & sweet, beautifully shot & a fun idea/ story. Versailles, with Carla Bruni as a tour guide, say no more, glorious!! Love Posie

  6. Oh so lovely! I'm going there over Christmas and cannot wait.

I also agree with posiepatchwork, I saw Midnight in Paris last week and it is just wonderful. It showcases Paris beautifully and is a great little movie.

  7. Hi Miss K

I would be pining for it too - who wouldn't.
I haven't really met a person that doesn't love paris!

I'm loving the blues - so you have the other blues for paris at the moment.

I can imagine sitting on that park bench for a few hours watching the world go by.

    take care
