New York Shopping List

We are heading off on our New York adventure in a few weeks. I've been putting together a "shopping list" to cover all my birthdays, mother's day and Christmases for the next year or so!

First on the list is to head to Tiffany & Co on 5th Avenue, I shall of course wear black and stand by the window eating my croissant and coffee. Although possibly not in a Givenchy evening gown and tiara.

  1. I've been eyeing off the Tiffany Locks Bangle for a while now.  Apparently Miss TikiBoo wants one too, but I don't think that will be happening!
  2. I'm also keen to get a new cover for my iPhone, as the current one has been broken for a while and I haven't quite got around to looking for a replacement. Kate Spade seem to have some fun and colourful cases.
  3. Jeans - apparently always cheaper in the USA!
  4. Sunglasses - another on the "starting to break and need replacement list".
  5. Miss TikiBoo is requesting I <3 NY merchandise. In particular underwear. Those who have seen "The Smurfs" movie will understand.
  6. Sephora! And a Sephora where the staff will speak English! Heaven.
  7. NYPD and
  8. Yankees merchandise - I'm thinking this is what the family will be getting for Christmas!
Is there anything I've missed?  What would you want to buy in New York?

  3. Kathryn!!!! You lucky girl. I don't know if you feel the same but I could not go to America without spending a large amount of money at JCrew, even though they are gearing up for winter. I love their clothes. Kate Spade and Anthropologie would be my next stops. I might get back to you with more suggestions as they come to me. How exciting for you.

  5. Didn't Audrey eat that croissant so delicately, I would have scattered buttery crumbs all over the place.

  8. Something Gorgeous - I think it's going to be too cold for evening wear!

Debby - I'm sure we will have a ball, can't wait!

Kel - JCrew is certainly on the list along with Anthropolgie.

Kylie - writing all those down, thanks.

Annie - I can't eat one without getting crumbs all over my lips! No elegance there!

A-M - We should have a Brisbane Bloggers trip to NYC...one day.

Abbey - Thanks, I'm very excited!

  9. Oh, I love all the BYW lists! And I adore NYC. Some girlfriends and I are trying to pull off a trip for some holiday shopping... Sephora is on every corner so that will be easy/peasy for you. I can't tell if your sweet girl will be going with you, but if so, take her to Dylan's Candy Bar (and if not, bring her a treat!). Also, cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery, there's one in Grand Central Station.

Now I want to go!! I sure hope you're planning on blogging about the trip! xo

  10. You will have a great time in NYC!

One of my favorite stores is Anthropologie and for basics I like Uniqlo, which is a Japanese chain.
