My mum returned from a visit to New Zealand last week. She bought back a little gift from my grandmother...but not for me, for Miss TikiBoo.

A pile of lovely old hankies.



At this point I have hidden them away for safe keeping as some of them are so fine and delicate. The hand embroidery on a couple is quite lovely. I'm envisioning a lovely, quirky quilt or something, but no doubt they will end up as barbie doll bedsheets!
